This was my second year facilitating culturally sensitive and trauma-informed training for the BELLA Camp coaches. A thank you to the World Language Initiative-MT for inviting me back this year to share my knowledge and expertise.

This training equips coaches with essential socio-emotional skills for serving our Hispanic youth effectively, ensuring that every camper feels seen, understood, and supported.

It’s been an enriching experience to work with dedicated individuals committed to positively impacting young people’s lives and building a diverse community. I look forward to seeing how these coaches will implement their new skills to create a nurturing and empowering environment for all campers.
